Michelle Nachay 

Michelle began her administrative career more than 15 years ago in the human resources department of the Chicago Housing Authority. It was there that she honed her skills in HR, customer service, administration and office management. Michelle has a varied background in public housing, education, information technology, legal, marketing and insurance. 

With an upbeat and conscientious attitude, today you will find Michelle coordinating everything from interviews to travel to accounting, all while ensuring a smooth process for everyone involved – candidates, clients, and the OverNorth team. Wearing multiple hats, along with meeting new and interesting people and keeping her colleagues in line, makes each day at OverNorth unique and gratifying.

A Chicago native, Michelle enjoys spending time with her 4-legged companion and trips to her favorite theme park in Florida.

Jane's pre-search experience includes 16 years of general management, sales, and operations experience in the logistics and transportation industries. She served as general manager of a joint venture between Burlington Northern Railroad and Santa Fe Railway. Previously, she was vice president of sales and operations of a national motor carrier.

Jane has a BA in Business Administration from Coe College. She relaxes with a good book, a fast walk, or a stint at the piano.

Renato T. Amador

Renato possesses extensive experience in recruiting transformational technology and human resources executives.  He works with companies spanning the business & professional services, communications, digital, e-commerce, consumer, retail and software sectors.

He has recruited senior executives with expertise in the fields of analytics, big data, cloud technologies / SaaS, data science, digital marketing, Internet of Things (IoT), mobility solutions and professional services. Kristina Greenhalgh

As a consultant with OverNorth, Kristina leads the firm’s research, business intelligence, and knowledge management activities. Additionally, she supports the Partners with search execution and participates in business development efforts.

Kristina entered executive search in 2013 after managing her own recruiting business. Her previous experience includes positions within the global logistics and automotive industries. Originally from Utena, Lithuania, she emigrated from her home country to the U.S. in 2010 after earning a BA in Lithuanian philology and literature and an MBA from Vilnius University, among the oldest and most respected universities in Europe.

Alvin Spector

Alvin recruits outstanding talent for investment and private wealth management, as well as insurance and capital markets related positions. He also has recruited marketing professionals for non-financial companies and developed an expertise in the turn-around management space.

With over 18 years of experience in executive recruiting, his clients have included managers of traditional and alternative asset classes, ranging from start-up to well-established global firms in the insurance, banking, and investment management sectors. Assignments completed include senior “c” suite executive searches, senior marketing and distribution professionals, fixed income and equity analysts and portfolio managers, risk managers, compliance officers, private wealth managers, and private equity bankers.

Kristina speaks three languages fluently and enjoys a good book, running, dancing, and visiting the great state of Wisconsin.

Renato is also an active member of OverNorth's HR practice and recruits Senior Talent Acquisition and Human Resources executives. Renato has placed senior level talent for high-growth venture capital / private equity backed companies, the Fortune 1000 and closely-held enterprises.  With nearly 20 years of experience in retained executive search, Renato has developed and executed strategies on high profile searches from the Vice President through to the CEO and Board Director levels.

Previously, Renato served as a Senior Director with Cook Associates' Technology and Board Services practices. His earlier search industry experience includes roles with Spencer Stuart and Russell Reynolds Associates. He started his career as an International Trade Specialist with the U.S. Commerce Department.

Renato received an MA in international affairs from Columbia University and his BA from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He is a tenacious long distance runner who can often be found training for his next marathon along the Chicago lakefront. He also enjoys international travel and experiencing new cultures.

Meet the team 

Prior to his career in search, Alvin was a Principal at Morgan Stanley. In search he previously was a partner with A.T. Kearney Executive Search and a member of the asset management practice of Russell Reynolds Associates. Clients depend on him not only for his candidate assessment and recruitment talents, but also for his extensive knowledge of the financial services industry.

Alvin has a BA from Binghamton University and an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA. He is an avid cyclist and each summer can be found climbing his way across the Rockies on a Specialized Roubaix, or riding in RAGBRAI.
